Less snuffles today...

...but way more achy tiredness...

I took the whole long day off, which feels crazy- and very good at the moment.  I really enjoyed getting a last small chunk of time with my house guest this morning, and am going to miss having her around:-(  Needing the settling (board game) partners.

In bed, just had breakfast, and planning to stay here for the forseable future.

This morning was more exciting than I wanted it to be- with a 9 a.m. doorbell, with the guy who fixes things here to poke at the furnace again.  Hopefully it's fixed for a while.

Looking like we're maybe going to get a remodeled kitchen.  So strange not to be the one doing the work, making the plans etc.  Pushing for my ounce of input where I get it.  Feeling heard on the needing to breathe front now- *whew*.  I know I get extra protective of my airways when I'm already having a hard time breathing, but I was extra stressed/worried for a minute there.  I just can't do particle board.  Can't breathe around it for the many months it takes that shit to just start off-gassing.  Anyway- no particle board, hopefully not too much plywood, which is many times better than particle board- if still kinda dicey.  Hopefully the glues and stuff will have a little time to dry before they're installed...

The up-side of course is a fabulous new kitchen- with lots of storage and counter space!  Really excited about all that.

Back to the mindless entertainment..

I miss people.

I have a cold...

... and working in the sealed office of doom just isn't helping...
